The Earl of London is LIVE EARLY!

The Earl of London is LIVE  EARLY! Get your Sunday going with the latest from Louise Bay!

Audio
I believe in love. It just doesn’t believe in me.
I date. I’m all for giving guys a chance. I’ve just never met the one.
Until on a spring morning in the English countryside, a tall, dark stranger emerges from the mist. Logan Steele is all tousled hair, hard chest and lips so perfect I want to reach out and touch them just to check they’re real. I’m sure that’s a thunderclap of chemistry I feel between us.
Did I mention he’s an Earl with a self-made fortune?
A billionaire who works tirelessly for charity?
And he’s so hot, watching him is like staring at the sun.
But like I said, love isn’t rooting for me.
When I find out Logan Steele is out to destroy everything I’ve dedicated my life to protect, the chemistry disappears and the hope that had blossomed my chest turns to rage.
It no longer matters that he quickens my pulse just saying my name, weakens my knees with a single touch and that he might just be the greatest kisser that ever lived.
I might believe in love but Logan Steele is definitely not the one.
A standalone romance.

That's a NO from me

Opinion by Raquel Centeno

💫Fear Not 🔥

Have you ever been in one of those “No” phases?

You know the ones where anything and everything someone says, suggests or invites you to, you’re answer is always “NOPE”.

I’ve had those phases, it wasn’t until my family and friends started helping me get out of my shell 🐚 that I was able to experience new and exciting things.

Those no phases kept me from experiencing life for a long time.  Some of the things I’ve been able to do since I became a daredevil (and by daredevil I mean going to sleep at 11) are, I wore a one piece bathing suit for the first time two years ago, zip lined for 2.4 miles in the jungle, swimming in caves (by that I mean hold on to dear life to the hubby’s neck), applied and got accepted to a university, tried sushi but didn’t like it.

So many things that we can be missing out because of our no phase, let’s live a little, try the new food, fly to new places, try on the damn bathing suite, live life.

Opinion by Raquel Centeno

When your roomba is not enough 🤭

🐶I have three doggies and unfortunately my shark vacuum is not working anymore.

🦈 I always used the romba and shark because together they’re a powerful force. What reliable vacuum can you recommend?

And remember that just like a romba and a shark, sometimes you need help to get things done. When you do, look for those awesome reliable people in you circle. ⭕️

Opinion by Raquel Centeno

✨Tomatoe Red 🍅

Our timing for growth is different and we don’t have to be in sync with anyone.

If you would have met me a few years ago you wouldn’t believe I was the same person.

I was the girl who would turn red if you would just turn to look at me.  The thought of making a conversation with someone would give me anxiety.

Fast forward a few years later and now sometimes people can’t shut me up.  What ever your journey is, whether in business, in your personal life, school, family, it doesn’t matter, remember everyone’s timing is different and it’s ok.

What? Already? Too Soon?

I was walking through Costco...patiently waiting for the Halloween costumes to show up.  I was surprised when they didn't show up until the end of July.

I mean, for the last few years I have complained (mostly to my husband) that Christmas shows up in July (too soon).  I even noticed/complained a couple years ago when a major electronics retailer quietly showed their "Not Holiday" commercials (because they didn't say "Holiday or Christmas" in them, just showed Christmas stuff in the background while people shopped) IN SEPTEMBER.

So it seems that Costco has moved their holiday induction back a few weeks.

So next I was looking for the ever present Christmas ribbons that are always the first things I see in Costco before the onslaught of Christmas decorations.  The ribbons didn't show up until mid August.  And I was shocked how the ribbons had been picked through by someone who apparently already has their Christmas theme decided and bought every one of a certain ribbon. 😀🎄 Lucky them to have a theme already!

I'm just starting to feel like we can ease into the season when on my Facebook feed I see a promo from Country Living for the new Grinch movie with the trailer.

I have to say...the trailer is pretty funny.  Love the Pickle Scene!!

So, I'm back to feeling like we are easing into the season to a sudden car stopping where I think "Thank Goodness I had my seatbelt on or I would have ejected out of the front windshield" noticing this trailer was actually released June 15th on Country Living!

What do y'all think?  Too soon?  Is this just getting the kids on track for the movie  holiday season? Have you seen the trailer? (yes...I like it too, quietly can't wait)

✨Clean up ✨

Opinion by Raquel Centeno
Do you remember when you were young and you had to be told to clean your room?
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that in order to move on we have to clean our room.
Our room could be our safe space, the place where we love to be but is too uncomfortable to clean because it’s just hard to admit certain things that are bothering us.
Well let me just say it, clean up!

Let go of all the trash that is dragging you down, after all, it is just trash

Flashing Back! Artist Malenda Trick

Malenda Trick was awarded the American Spirit Award by the Veterans Alliance of Florida Aug 13, 2016

Flashing Back!
My Mom, Artist Malenda Trick, accepted the American Spirit Award that she didn't know she was getting. It came as a complete surprise. The Veteran's Alliance of Florida has followed her work for Veteran's for years.

She had a WWII Portrait Show where she did portraits of WWII military members and after the Veteran's Day display completed she donated the portraits back to the Veteran or the Veteran's family.
Earl Hodges
Additionally, she created the WWII Veteran's Wall.

coffee or tea?
Post by Raquel Centeno

If you’ve known me for a while you would know I used to be a tea person.

Tea was my go to, it wasn’t so much about the tea brand it was more about the flavor, the feeling of familiarity.

I was also one who didn’t like coffee, you would put it in front of me and I would be yiuc no, and as I got older and saw the hubby drinking it 24/7 I started to think what the heck is up with coffee.

It wasn’t until about 1year ago that I became a coffee drinker and I got to thinking why is it that we fail to try new things?

For me it was because I just didn’t want to step out of my comfort zone.  My comfort zone has always been my greatest companion.

I assume that some has to do with the Military moves, where you have to start over and over so at times you crave the familiar.

But I have to admit that sometimes stepping out of my comfort zone has allowed me to have amazing experiences such as meeting new people, zip lining off a 147 feet high building, swim in one of the warmest waters I’ve ever experienced, get on a plane and fly for 15 hours to get to a city on top of water and let’s not forget the most amazing thing ever, taste the COFFEE.

It’s Friday, try something new, get out of your comfort zone, try the coffee ☕️
